The short version: Some links on Huckleberry are affiliate links. When you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission — at no additional cost to you. This is how we keep the lights on. It does not change which products we recommend or how we rank them.
The Full Disclosure
Huckleberry participates in affiliate advertising programs designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by linking to partner retailers and service providers. When you click a link marked as an affiliate link and complete a qualifying purchase or action, we may earn a commission.
This disclosure is provided in compliance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (FTC 16 CFR Part 255). The FTC requires that we be transparent with our readers about any material connection between Huckleberry and the companies whose products we recommend.
We take this requirement seriously — not just as a legal obligation, but because we believe you deserve to know when our editorial content could result in compensation for us.
Our Affiliate Partners
The following are our current affiliate and referral partners. This list is updated when new relationships are established or existing ones end.
This list reflects current affiliate relationships and is updated as relationships change. The presence of a company on this list does not guarantee a positive editorial review, and the absence of a company does not indicate a negative one.
Common Questions
Does affiliate income affect your recommendations?
No. We determine our recommendations based on research, product quality, and what we genuinely believe is best for our readers. Affiliate commission rates are not considered when ranking or selecting products. A higher commission from a mediocre product doesn't make it into a Huckleberry guide. See our How We Recommend page for the full editorial process.
Does affiliate income affect our prices?
No. Affiliate commissions are paid by retailers and service providers — not by you. The price you pay through an affiliate link is the same as the price you'd pay going directly to that retailer. In some cases, our affiliate relationships give us access to exclusive discounts we can share with readers.
How do I know when a link is an affiliate link?
Pages and guides that contain affiliate links include a disclosure statement near the top of the page. We don't mark every individual affiliate link with a visual indicator, but we do tell you upfront when a page contains links that may earn us a commission.
Can companies pay to be recommended?
No. Companies cannot purchase editorial recommendations, rankings, or guide placements. Paid partnerships (sponsorships) are clearly labeled as such and are separate from our editorial content. If you see a "Sponsored" label on Huckleberry, it means a company paid for placement in that specific section — and our editors did not rank them; they purchased the placement directly.
What if I don't want to use your affiliate links?
You're welcome to search for any product we recommend directly rather than using our links. We'd ask that you still read our guides for the research and analysis — that work takes time and we appreciate it. But there's no obligation to click our links, and our recommendations are yours to use however you like.
